St Edmund’s builds on a proud tradition
If anyone was to visit the new Creative
Arts Complex between 7:30am and
5pm any day, you would hear the
sounds of Faith Lutheran students
creating fabulous music. From
individual instrumental lessons to
choir and concert band, student-run
bands and musical rehearsals, there is
always something musically creative
happening. Already, the choir and
concert band have performed publicly,
including the opening of the Rosewood
Bendigo Bank branch. Their annual
musical is well underway, with an
incredibly talented cast and crew under
the direction of Mr Tyson Kenny. One of
the highlights will be the production of
'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour
Dream Coat' which starts at 7.00pm
on 22 and 23 July, and a Matinee
Performance on Saturday 24 July at
2.00pm. Ticket sales open Monday 23
May so get in early as they will sell fast.
The choir and concert band had a
busy time at music camp, which was
the perfect opportunity for hours of
intensive rehearsal, as well as fun and
socialising. Rehearsals are also under
way for the Music Tour which will
happen again this year over the 'Ekka'
August break. This year they we are
travelling up the Queensland coast,
visiting schools and performing. As you
can see, Faith Luteran College is alive....
with the sounds of music! For more
